Want to convert to Catholic, however it feels spiritually dead to me

by GuyLorakan » Fri Jan 17, 2025 10:37 am

I am currently a Presbyterian. From a legal point of view, the Catholic church seems more correct to me. However, when I pray the rosary, I feel nothing. The Catholic mass does nothing for me. However, I've never experienced the Eucharist, which is the most important part, so that may be the reason why.

When I attend services as a Presbyterian, I feel my heart change. When I pray, I can feel God. I do not experience any of that as a Catholic. Perhaps my heart is hardened, or perhaps the Catholic Church is spiritually dead.
